Back to School

Well Summer's over.. well sort of.. The kids headed back to school !! School started this year on Aug 6.. The girls were all excited!! Especially Autumn.. She stared 7th grade!!! What that means is.... Jr. High!! Ashlyn will be in the 5th grade, her teacher is Mr. Ranus.. Alexis will be in the 5th grade this year, her teacher is Mrs. Brainard.. we are looking forward to a great school year!! As you notice Andrew is missing from these pictures.. he is a Jr in High School and he leaves for school @ 615am.. that is just way early!! I just can't believe that school has started again.. and I have kids in High School and Jr High!! They are growing up SO fast.. but they each are so wonderful to me!!

Camping is FUN!!

We went camping on the 1st weekend of August.. or as the kids pit it.. "the last week-end B4 school starts".. We had a lot of FUN!! It rained at least once a day.. but we managed to still have fun!! It was Kylee's 1st camping trip. she did very good, but i think she was ready to go home at the end..

Summer Fun

We went to lagoon this summer with Lana's family!! We had alot of fun!! Alexis decided this summer that she LOVE'S all types of Roller Coasters...

Girls Singing in Disneyland

On June 2, 08 Autumn & Ashlyn went of to Disneyland with their Chorus from school. They have been SO excited to go. They found out that their chorus was chosen to perform in March.
so it has been a long 3 months to wait. But they were busy with morning practices 3 times a week!! All the practice paid off, because they sounded great!! I was alot of fun to seem them perform. We were very proud of them!!
The bus left the school at 9am on that Monday morning. they stopped and had lunch in Blyth CA. Ashlyn had KFC while Autumn had Taco bell.
They stayed at the Raddison that was located next to Knott's Berry Farm. The girls said they slept on sleep number beds, and had a flat screen plasma TV. They stayed in the lap of luxury :)
After they checked into their hotel they went to Huntington Beach and played in the sand. they were not allowed to get wet.. or so they were told..
After the beach they went to dinner at "The Medieval Times". The girls said it was so cool.. when you eat there you don have ANY eating utensils!! so you sipped the soup from the bowl, and ate everything else with your hands!! they must have gone thru ALOT of napkins!!
Tuesday morning they went to the back stage of Disney, where they were taken on a back lot tour of Disneyland. They performed at 11:30 next to the castle!! Like I said, they sounded great!! The rest of the day they went with their group all thru Disney!! I did not even see them until they were ready to leave the park. :( Wed. June 4 they played in Disneyland and the California Adventure. Alexis and I meet up with the WHOLE group and went to dinner with them. We had dinner at the "Rain Forest Cafe".. it was kind of gross if you ask me.. but it was good to be with the girls.. (finally) and we had FUN!!
